Zinn Cycles Design Philosophy

Since 1982, Lennard Zinn has designed custom bikes for riders of all sizes—including average sized riders, big and tall cyclists, petite women, riders with uncommon proportions, and those with injuries or limited mobility. Zinn customers include everyone from professional level racers to recreational riders. As the founder of Zinn Cycles, he builds bikes for people ranging from 4'7" to 7'5", earning a reputation as a leader in performance and durability for every body type. Working closely with Dr. Andy Pruitt, Lennard has created solutions for cyclists facing challenges like knee, back, or neck issues, ensuring everyone can ride comfortably and confidently.

Proportionality is at the heart of all of our custom bike designs. Every aspect of our bikes are built to be proportional to the rider, including the frame, cranks, wheels, and cockpit components. We offer cranks from 140mm all the way up to 210mm, so we can properly fit any person in the world, no matter their size. Lennard has developed great frame design concepts to address and solve all of these issues and more.
